TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE – MY ELECTRA WALLET ISN’T SYNCING

First Things First

Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest Electra.conf file before beginning. The file is available in the #links channel on Discord or can be downloaded from this location: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cWI4oO0ltmlt9wxuawtDefFv7m9NN0s2/view?usp=sharing

 

Windows

  • Press the Windows + R Keys simultaneously.
  • Type %appdata%
  • Navigate to the ‘Electra’ folder
  • Copy the new Electra.conf file and paste it into this location replacing the existing Electra.conf file.
  • Restart the wallet application.
  • Please wait up to 5 mins for the application to establish connectivity.

Mac

  • Navigate to the Finder or to your desktop.
  • Click on the ‘Go’ option from the top menu bar
  • Click on ‘Go to folder’
  • Type /Users/’Your username’/Library/Application Support/electra

 

E.g. /Users/bobby/Library/Application Support/electra

 

Note – please ensure the username is entered correctly. To verify that you are using the correct username, navigate to /Users/ from the finder to see a list of usernames on the current computer.

  • Copy the new Electra.conf file and paste it into this location replacing the existing Electra.conf file.
  • Restart the wallet application
  • Please wait up to 5 mins for the application to establish connectivity.

 

Linux

  • Navigate to the home directory à src à Electra
  • Copy the new Electra.conf file and paste it into this location replacing the existing Electra.conf file.
  • Restart the wallet application
  • Please wait up to 5 mins for the application to establish connectivity.
